advertentieLieutenant Colonel of the Royal Army M.J.S. (Maurits) Baatenburg de Jong MSc BC has been appointed as adjutant to His Majesty the King by Royal Decree effective July 1, 2025. Previously, he served as Head of Selection and Examination within the Personnel Logistics Service Center (DCPL) of Defense.
Lieutenant Colonel Baatenburg de Jong succeeds Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Army drs. L. van den Berg EMSD, who has been honorably relieved of this position effective July 1, 2025, and appointed as adjutant in extraordinary service to His Majesty the King on the same date. Lieutenant Colonel Van den Berg will be stationed abroad.
