His Majesty the King will receive the ambassadors of the Holy See, His Excellency Monsignor J-M. Speich, the ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency H.M. Mahmurod, and the ambassador of the Republic of Benin, Her Excellency C.A. Brunet, on the morning of July 2 at Palace Noordeinde in The Hague for the presentation of their letters of credence.
The ambassadors will be picked up in a gala carriage and accompanied by a chamberlain of the King. The embassy staff will travel in a blue carriage. Attendants in gala attire will accompany the gala carriage. Two riders from the Mounted Police will lead and follow each procession in ceremonial dress. The ambassadors will be dressed in tailcoats or national attire.
At Palace Noordeinde, a guard of honor and a military band will be present. The guard of honor consists of a commander and two detachments from the Army Command. The music will be provided by the Royal Military Band Johan Willem Friso.
There are also two honor posts of the Royal Marechaussee Brigade The Hague at the Palace. After a salute of four drum rolls and the national anthem of the ambassadors country, an inspection of the guard of honor will follow, and the ambassador will enter with their entourage. Upon the ambassadors departure, another four drum rolls will follow.
