His Majesty the King will receive on the morning of Wednesday, October 8, at Palace Noordeinde in The Hague, the ambassador of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, His Excellency J. Varo, the ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Excellency K.N.S. Al-Kadi, and the ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Her Excellency M.L. Mohatonyane, in succession for the presentation of their letters of credence.
The ambassadors will be picked up in a gala carriage and accompanied by a chamberlain of the King. The embassy staff will ride along in a blue carriage. Attendants in gala attire will accompany the gala carriage. Two riders of the Mounted Police in ceremonial uniform will ride in front of and behind each procession. The ambassadors are dressed in tailcoats or national attire.
At Palace Noordeinde, an honor guard and a military band will be present. The honor guard consists of a commander and two detachments of the Air and Space Forces Command. The music will be provided by the Royal Air Force Orchestra.
There are also two honor posts of the Royal Military Constabulary Brigade The Hague at the Palace. After an honor salute of four rolls and the national anthem of the ambassadors country, an inspection of the honor guard follows, and the ambassador with entourage enters. Upon the ambassadors departure, another four honor rolls will follow.
