His Majesty the King received key political leaders at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague to discuss the cabinet formation.

Announcement from the Cabinet of the King:

His Majesty the King received on Wednesday afternoon, 11 February 2026, at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague, consecutively the Vice-President of the Council of State, Mr. Th.C. de Graaf, the Chairperson of the Senate, Dr. M.L. Vos, and the Chairperson of the House of Representatives, Mr. A.A.M. van Campen.

The King spoke with them about the final phase of the cabinet formation and the upcoming appointment and swearing-in of the ministers of the new cabinet, as laid down in the Constitution.
