Her Majesty Queen Máxima will visit The Offline Club in Amsterdam on Monday evening, November 3. The Offline Club is a social enterprise focused on promoting genuine, personal connections in an era dominated by screens and digital distractions.

The organization was founded three years ago in Amsterdam and has since grown into an international community with activities in London, Berlin, Milan, Paris, and Barcelona. During so-called Hangouts and Offline Reading Parties, participants deliberately go offline to experience calm, creativity, and human contact.

During the visit, Queen Máxima will speak with the founders and regular visitors about the importance of offline social connection and how The Offline Club encourages people to use digital technology more consciously. Afterwards, she will attend part of a Hangout, where visitors meet and engage in creative activities together.

The visit to The Offline Club aligns with Queen Máxima and the MIND Us Foundations commitment to promoting the mental health of young people and raising awareness about the impact of digitalization and social media on wellbeing and connectedness.
