His Majesty the King, Her Majesty Queen Máxima, and Her Royal Highness the Princess of Orange will be present in Luxembourg on Friday, October 3, for the abdication of His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri and the installation of His Royal Highness Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume.
The abdication will take place in the Grand Ducal Palace, and the swearing-in ceremony of the new Grand Duke will occur in Parliament. The Royal Couple and the Princess of Orange will subsequently attend the ceremonies at the town hall and will attend the gala dinner in the evening at the Grand Ducal Palace.
