His Majesty the King and Her Majesty Queen Máxima hosted a lunch on Tuesday, November 4, at Noordeinde Palace for Dutch citizens who have distinguished themselves through remarkable achievements.
The 27 guests invited have recently received awards or other distinctions for their accomplishments in various sectors such as arts and culture, media, science, sports, and business.
The guests this time included athletes who have become world or European champions, the teacher of the year, the best beer sommelier in the world, and winners of the journalistic award De Tegel and, for example, the Zilveren Nipkow Prize.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima wish to express their recognition and appreciation for people who have delivered outstanding achievements by hosting this lunch.
