Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands will be present on Sunday, September 7, at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Disability Sports Fund. This event, themed 50 Years of Unlimited Sports, will take place during the European Para-Dressage Championship at the National Equestrian Center in Ermelo. In the afternoon, Princess Margriet will present the awards.
The anniversary gathering focuses on sports for people with disabilities, inspiring stories, and showcasing the impact achieved together in disability sports.
In the Netherlands, there are 1.8 million people for whom sports are not a given. Not everywhere is the sports and movement offering accessible, or facilities are lacking nearby. The Disability Sports Fund is committed to making sports and exercise possible for people with disabilities so that they too can always and everywhere participate in sports.
The European Para-Dressage Championship 2025 will take place from September 3 to 7, 2025, in Ermelo.
