Her Royal Highness the Princess of Orange participated in the Graduation Ceremony of the Bachelor Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on Monday afternoon, July 14. The University of Amsterdam marks the end of the bachelors program with this traditional ceremony. Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima and Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrix, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane of the Netherlands were also present.
The Princess of Oranges thesis is titled Beyond Disclosure: Bridging the Gap Between the Artificial Intelligence Act and the Charter of Fundamental Rights with Deepfaked Bodies. It concerns a study on the tension between European fundamental rights and AI legislation.
Due to the arm fracture of the Princess one subject has been postponed. The Princess of Orange will receive her bachelors diploma for PPLE after successfully completing this subject. In the new academic year the Princess will start a bachelor in Dutch Law, also at the University of Amsterdam, and will participate in the training program of Defensity College.
