His Majesty the King has appointed Her Royal Highness the Princess of Orange to the reserve personnel of the Armed Forces, as a seaman third class in the Royal Navy and as a soldier third class in the Royal Army and the Royal Air Force.
The Princess of Orange begins her training at Defensity College on September 30. She will go through various theoretical modules and training of the program and will work as a student employee at the Executive Staff of Defense. The component of the General Military Training has been postponed until she has fully recovered from her arm fracture. After completing the General Military Training, she will be promoted to corporal.
The Princess performs her duties unpaid and her study time is considered private.
Defensity College aims to provide students with a meaningful part-time job during their studies and to increase visibility and connection between the armed forces and society. The program consists of various workplaces, activities, events, and training. Thus, the program contributes to the personal, professional, and military development of the military student employee.
