NWO and the Netherlands Space Office (NSO) are jointly launching a new call to support existing Knowledge Networks. This will allow them to continue their existing activities and modernize the composition of the network.
This call falls under the program ‘Partnerships for Space Instruments & Applications Preparatory Programme’ (PIPP). The PIPP is part of the Dutch space policy. For this, the international position of the Netherlands must be strengthened in the development and use of space instruments. This call focuses on three themes:
- Breakthrough technologies for space instruments in the (optical) spectral domain from Far-IR to X-ray
- Breakthrough technologies for space instruments in the microwave domain
- Breakthrough technologies for distributed satellite systems
Budget and Applications
For each theme, a maximum of 475,000 euros can be requested, the deadline for submitting applications is June 19, 2025, at 14:00. Submitting an application does not happen via ISAAC; applications may be sent to knw@spaceoffice.nl. More information, including the Call for Proposals, is available on the NSO website.
