The NWA Call for ‘Key Enabling Methodologies (KEMs)’ is now open. Projects focus on major challenges like climate and healthcare. Cross-sector collaboration is key. The goal is to develop knowledge aiding policymakers in transitions.

Objective of the Call

The program examines how key methodologies can address major issues. KEMs offer structures and effective frameworks, enhancing transitions such as in climate policy.

  • It strengthens the scientific knowledge base for policy development by understanding how methods function in specific contexts.
  • It develops a holistic approach for policymakers in the deployment of methods.

Budget and deadlines

Projects can request between € 3,000,000 and € 3,220,000. The maximum duration is six years. Submissions close on February 13, 2025.

Meetings

Mandatory workshops will be held on March 5 and 26, 2025. They aim to foster collaboration.
