Reint Jan Renes (lector HvA), Peter Wennink (former CEO ASML), Marieke Blom (chief economist ING), Sandra Jetten (director Oranjefonds), and Anna Gimbrère (science journalist) have recently joined the NWO advisory board. They have been invited based on their expertise to provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to the board of directors regarding developments relevant to NWO in society and science.
NWO is pleased with the accession of the new members to the advisory board. Each of them brings valuable knowledge and expertise. Their future-oriented view of society and science is an addition and an enrichment to the composition of the advisory board, says Marcel Levi, chairman of NWO.
The advisory board consists of ten individuals and meets at least twice a year with the board of directors. Members are invited to sit on the advisory board based on their expertise and experience, not as representatives of their organization. They have been approached because of their broad perspective and good insight into social developments. Read more about the advisory board and the full composition.
