It is expected that the European research program on biodiversity will launch its new call: BiodivConnect on September 9. NWO is participating in this call in the area of restoring the functioning, integrity, and connectivity of ecosystems.
This call is looking for projects that stimulate innovative research that can be integrated into nature restoration practices and support interconnected and well-functioning ecosystems and habitats. Special attention is given to long-term sustainability and the future viability of restoration measures at local, regional, cross-border, and global scales.
The call pertains to restoration measures in all types of ecosystems and habitats, in all regions of the world, including the Caribbean Sea. The goal is to support high-quality research & innovation projects that adopt a holistic, systematic, and integrated approach to biodiversity and ecosystem restoration.
