The grant is intended for teachers from primary, secondary, vocational, higher vocational, and special education. There are no restrictions on the subject of the doctoral research. The Promotion Grant for Teachers enables teachers to conduct doctoral research alongside their work.
Budget and Duration
The total budget for this round is 5.5 million euros. Recipients of the grant will be exempted from teaching for a maximum of 5 years for up to 0.4 fte.
