The European Partnership FutureFoodS announces its second Call, aimed at accelerating the transition to sustainable and resilient food systems. NWO intends to make funding available again for Dutch applicants. The Call is expected to open in the second half of November 2025.

This Call contributes to the development of sustainable, healthy, and safe diets, and encourages the sustainable management of food systems and food consumption in Europe. Through the projects that arise from this, researchers can support governments, businesses, and citizens in realizing significant changes in the food system.

European Partnership for a Sustainable Future of Food Systems

FutureFoodS is an innovative European Partnership focused on transforming food production and consumption in Europe into more sustainable and resilient systems. This partnership brings together leading experts, research institutions, businesses, and policymakers to develop joint solutions for the complex challenges we face in our food systems, such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, and food security.
