A 50-year-old man suspected of involvement in the disappearance of Tijn from Eindhoven will remain in custody for 14 more days. This was decided by the examining magistrate today. Regarding the 40-year-old co-suspect, the examining magistrate decided that she may await the investigation in freedom.
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) believes that the woman should also be kept in custody and has therefore filed an appeal. This will be addressed tomorrow by the council chamber of the court. Until then, the woman remains in custody. The OM suspects the two of having removed the boy from legal authority. The police announced today that the boy has since been found.
