Anne-Katrien Banning will start on November 17, 2025, as Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutors Office North Holland. Anne-Katrien succeeds Corien Fahner, who has been Chief Public Prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutors Office North Netherlands since June this year.
After completing her RAIO training in 2006, Anne-Katrien started at the Public Prosecution Service as a public prosecutor. During her career, she has held various positions: as a public prosecutor and leadership roles. She worked at the District Public Prosecutors Office The Hague and the Functional Public Prosecutors Office. Anne-Katrien is currently team leader at the Functional Public Prosecutors Office and last year she performed the duties of the deputy chief public prosecutor there.
