The Public Prosecution Service (OM) demands a 4-year prison sentence for a 61-year-old man from Baarn. It also demands an 8-year professional ban and a 4-year location and contact ban. The man is suspected of sexual abuse involving 11 minor victims. He is also alleged to possess and produce child pornography. “He mercilessly abuses their innocence.”
The case came to light on March 28, 2024, when two victims filed charges against their high school music teacher. At the teachers invitation, they came to his home earlier that day to record a music video. “For a higher grade,” the teacher allegedly promised. Upon arrival, latex suits and high patent leather boots were ready. While recording the clip, he asked the victims to play dead. Then he began to fondle the victims. Because the victims felt uncomfortable, they partially recorded the incident. Shortly thereafter, they filed charges.
Can of Worms
Upon arrest, the police seized data carriers from the suspect. During the computer investigation, a can of worms was opened. Ultimately, child pornographic material was found involving six girls who filed charges of sexual acts. Material that the suspect himself had created. Existing child pornography was also found on his computer. The investigation eventually led to other victims, who also filed charges.
Playing Dead
Notably, the suspect showed the same modus operandi over an eight-year period. He approached his victims to meet and do something fun, such as swimming, walking the dog, or recording music videos. Playfully, he repeatedly crossed the line. He put victims on his lap, played tickle-death or zombie games. Then he moved his hands to their breasts, buttocks, and vagina. Over and under clothing. Particularly distressing is that the suspect repeatedly tried to persuade the victims to play dead. He told them to fall backward, stick out their tongues, and shake. Then he touched them and recorded everything. Research showed that the suspect searched online for pornography of women in latex suits pretending to die by convulsing and falling backward. In the videos, they often stuck out their tongues.

The public prosecutor is clear about the severity of the facts. “It dominates his entire life. It is no coincidence, it is not a one-time offense. He manipulates the girls and their parents, selects them, and knows exactly what he is going to do. The latex suits were even already on the bed for the recordings.” According to the prosecutor, it is striking that the suspect greatly downplays all facts by insisting that a large part of the touches were not sexual but functional. The prosecutor finds it unbelievable that he had no sexual intent during these games. “His computer was full of pornographic material of exactly the same nature. He mercilessly abuses the innocence of the victims, and I have no good words for it,” said the prosecutor.
