Man arrested for indecency at The Hague after-school care

A 67-year-old man from The Hague has been arrested on suspicion of indecency and producing child pornographic material involving two children. The suspect allegedly committed these acts at an after-school care center in The Hague where he was employed.

The after-school care center filed a report in August after a colleague reportedly saw the suspect filming. The police seized all data carriers at the suspect’s home. Several videos were found that qualify as child pornographic material. The videos show two children being secretly filmed and touched over their clothes.
 
The two children in the videos have been identified by the police, and their parents have since filed a report. The suspect has not worked at the after-school care center since the report.
 
The suspect was arrested on Friday, January 23, and was presented to the examining magistrate on Monday, who extended his pre-trial detention by fourteen days.
