A signal has been received from the NCSC indicating a possible vulnerability in the Citrix Netscalers. These are important for the OM to provide users access to the office automation environment. A thorough analysis of the OM environments has given reason to believe that this potential vulnerability may have been exploited.
Based on this information, the Board of Prosecutors General has decided to disconnect the internal digital environment of the OM from the internet, meaning that employees can no longer log in outside an OM location, and there are also restrictions within the office environment.
Currently, research and analysis are taking place regarding the potential vulnerability. It is not yet clear how long this will take. In good cooperation with chain partners, efforts are being made to minimize the impact on criminal cases and for employees.
As soon as more information is available regarding the nature, extent, and consequences of the potential vulnerability, it will be shared.
