The National Police Internal Investigations Department, under the direction of the Public Prosecution Service, has launched an investigation into a 61-year-old employee of the Zeeland-West-Brabant police unit. The man has been arrested and is in pre-trial detention.
In the same case, a 23-year-old woman has also been arrested. The council chamber of the court in Breda decided last week that both suspects must remain in pre-trial detention for 90 more days. In the interest of the investigation, the Public Prosecution Service does not comment on questions about the suspicion against both persons.
