The Public Prosecution Service in Rotterdam has dismissed a case against a 77-year-old man from Bergschenhoek.
The man was initially suspected of having abused and kidnapped his wife and children, as well as animal abuse. However, insufficient legal and convincing evidence was found for the kidnapping and abuse of his children.
Additionally, the mans physical and mental health status played a role in the decision made. The Public Prosecution Service finds it not meaningful to bring the case to court given the mans health condition.
