At the request of the formation table, the Central Planning Bureau (CPB), in cooperation with the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL), started calculating the coalition agreement. The results will be published on February 20, 2026. The plans from the coalition agreement will be incorporated into the annual spring forecast: the Central Economic Plan (CEP), which will be published mid-March 2026.

Calculation of Coalition Agreement

The budgetary and economic calculation of the coalition agreement follows the approach of Choices in Map. The CPB not only maps the short- and medium-term effects but also looks at the long-term consequences. There is explicit attention to themes such as human capital, innovation, and the investment climate. For analyses in the areas of climate, nitrogen, and nature, the CPB collaborates with the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL).
