The 61-year-old man was arrested in Kampen. The police also conducted a search in a residence there, where digital data carriers were found and seized. These are being further investigated.
Two arrests in October
In October, the police also arrested two suspects in this investigation. They are suspected of manufacturing firearms. One is a 34-year-old man from the municipality of Montferland and the other a 55-year-old man from Den Bosch.
Eight arrests in June
The investigation by the police and Public Prosecution Service in Northern Netherlands focuses on a criminal network, where a large part of the arrested suspects adhere to anti-institutional ideology and possibly intend to use violence. In this investigation, eight persons were already arrested in June. These persons were suspected of jointly committing criminal offenses aimed at collecting or intending to use weapons and/or dangerous substances.
