Serious assault during a night out
A pleasant evening ended in the early hours of Saturday, October 25, 2025, with a serious assault for the victim. Near a café on Langstraat in Geldrop, the man was struck. He sustained various injuries, including brain damage and a broken jaw. The victim still suffers from the consequences of the assault.
The police launched an investigation and spoke with witnesses. In addition, CCTV footage was requested and reviewed. From this investigation, the suspect arrested today emerged. A special arrest team apprehended the man.
The suspect is in custody and is being questioned.
