At around 14:30, the police received a report of a collision on Vloedmolenweg in Stramproy. The cyclist was seriously injured in the accident, prompting the dispatch of a trauma helicopter. Unfortunately, medical assistance was in vain, and the victim died at the scene.

The Traffic Investigation Team and Forensic Traffic Investigation are looking into the accident.
