Severe assault
Multiple suspects entered the house through the rear. The resident was severely assaulted in the bedroom. An unknown amount of money was stolen. The suspects likely fled through the rear of the house. It is still unclear how many suspects were involved.
The 93-year-old man was transported to the hospital for medical care. No arrests have been made yet.

You may have seen something suspicious between Monday evening 11:00 PM and Tuesday 3:30 AM in the area of Sionstraat in Maastricht.
