Shooting in Conflict in Maastricht, No Injuries

On Wednesday evening around 19:45, the police received multiple reports. There were reports of gunshots heard in the vicinity of Jerichoplein / Tiberiastraat. Investigation has revealed that a conflict had previously arisen between individuals. The suspect(s) fired multiple shots. No injuries were reported. The police are conducting an investigation.
The two suspects fled in an unknown direction. One person has been arrested. This person is not involved in the shooting incident but was arrested for obstructing the police.
