The accident, which also involved a car, occurred around 3:30 PM. Emergency services arrived quickly and resuscitation was initiated. A trauma helicopter was also deployed. However, resuscitation was unsuccessful and the victim died at the scene from his injuries.

Due to the investigation into the cause of the accident, the road was closed for some time. It was reopened around 5:15 PM.
