Officers from the Infrastructure Service of the National Expertise and Operations Unit observed that the driver of the vehicle repeatedly ignored a red cross above the highway and decided to check the car and driver. He received a citation for ignoring the red cross and failing to show identification. During the check, the police discovered that the man was wanted in Germany, and he was subsequently arrested. The Amsterdam court will soon decide on the extradition of the suspect.

Arrest of Noted Polish Suspect for Traffic Violations

On the evening of May 20, the police arrested a 28-year-old Polish man along the A28 near Zwolle. He ignored a red cross above the highway, and upon inspection, it was revealed that the man was wanted in Germany. He is suspected of involvement in multiple armed robberies in Germany, for which he still has ten years to serve.
