The accident occurred around noon on an unpaved road, Minnelingsebrugstraat. The motocross rider collided with a tractor there. Medical emergency services, including a trauma helicopter, arrived at the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Traffic specialists from the police are conducting further investigation into the cause.
