Controls were carried out both in the afternoon and evening at various locations in Ommoord and Zevenkamp. Among other things, fatbikes and scooters were checked for speed using a roller bank. Additionally, checks were made for violations and fines were issued where necessary.
The results
A total of ten cars, 45 fatbikes, 45 scooters, and one motorcycle were checked. 80 fines were issued for various reasons, including defective lighting, excessive speed on the roller bank, and incorrect lane changes. Additionally, two electric scooters and a limiter were seized. Four individuals received an official warning for driving with a phone in hand, and finally, the police made two WOK reports.
Continue to report nuisance
The most important thing is that people continue to report. The police check the area several times a day and in the evenings. We point out peoples behavior and send those causing nuisance out of the neighborhood. Together with the municipality, our focus is on the area.
