On Thursday evening around 21:40, the police arrived at the scene following a report of a shooting incident at Spoorplaats in Den Hoorn. Officers found a seriously injured person at the location. Help was no longer effective, and the victim died on site from his injuries. The investigation team is conducting an extensive inquiry into the incident.
Suspect arrested
At 03:20 in the night, officers arrested an 18-year-old boy from Rijswijk. He is suspected of involvement in the violent incident. Multiple arrests at a later time are not excluded.
Large-scale investigation started
The investigation team has started a TGO (Large-Scale Investigation Team), conducting thorough research into the incident. At this moment, it is unclear what type of violent incident occurred; further investigation will clarify this.
