Emergency services received a report of the fire around 2:30 AM. Firefighters and police arrived quickly. The fire brigade extinguished the fire but could not prevent the stall from being completely destroyed. The police caught the two suspects red-handed on suspicion of arson. They are in custody for further investigation.

Fritters Stall Deliberately Set on Fire

On the night of Sunday, December 21 to Monday, December 22, a fritters stall on Cypresstraat was set on fire. The police arrested two suspects: a 27-year-old man from Erp and a 42-year-old man from Tilburg. The police suspect it was a targeted act and are conducting further investigation.
