Around 01:10 AM, the victim himself called the police to report he had been injured in a stabbing incident. Officers found a 33-year-old man from Eindhoven near his car with a neck injury. The victim was examined in the ambulance and had to be taken to the hospital to have his wound stitched.
The stabbing incident is believed to have occurred inside the victims car. An unknown man got into the car after calling for help near the Europalaan and Markt roundabout. In the car, the man demanded money from the victim. After the incident, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. Of course, we are investigating exactly what happened between the two in the car.
