After receiving a report of a suspicious situation in a car in Leersum, we arrived at the scene. The driver then sped off, prompting us to initiate a pursuit. During this chase, the driver hit several vehicles and traffic signs. After a while, the car came to a stop in a field near Cuneraweg in Rhenen, and the suspect fled on foot. Eventually, the suspect was arrested and is still in custody for questioning. No one was injured.
