Around two oclock in the night, the police received a burglary alarm at a company building on Bennebroekerweg in Rijsenhout. Surveillance footage showed a person inside the building.
On site, an officer saw someone running through the adjacent meadow and gave chase.
Other officers drove around Aalsmeerderweg to cut him off, when they saw two more men running. A few minutes later, three men were arrested for business burglary.
Companies on Bennebroekerweg were investigated, and it turned out that a hole had been made in the roof to enter the building. The three suspects, men aged 23, 37, and 42 with unknown residence, are in custody for investigation.
