Several people reportedly gathered around 6:15 PM at Thorbeckeplein. According to the informant, one of the attendees had a stabbing weapon with him. Officers on the scene found a 43-year-old man from Breda who matched the given description. The man was searched, and a stabbing weapon was found.
He resisted heavily during his arrest but was ultimately taken to the police station for questioning. The weapon was confiscated. The man was then released but remains a suspect in the investigation.
