A resident sees a burning object at the front door of his house on the evening of July 3. When he kicks the burning object to extinguish it, an explosive goes off at that moment. The man is seriously injured in his leg and has been taken to a hospital.

The bang – which occurred around 10:30 PM – also causes damage to the front of the house in Amsterdam East. The front door is damaged and a window is shattered. Besides the 26-year-old victim, more people are present in the house at the time of the explosion, including a young child.
