Raid on Tudderenderweg Sittard, suspects presented to the examining magistrate

A 31-year-old man from Sittard and his 56-year-old father remain in custody on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons. The pre-trial detention of the 31-year-old man has been extended by 14 days, and the 56-year-old father will remain in custody for at least 3 more days. This was decided by the examining magistrate on Friday.
The two men were arrested on Wednesday, August 20, during a raid on Tudderenderweg.
The Public Prosecution Service (OM), the municipality of Sittard-Geleen, and the police are working closely together to combat undermining. The investigation in this case is ongoing. Forensic research is underway. More arrests are therefore not ruled out.
