The police received a report on Wednesday, June 18, about a person with misunderstood behavior in a home in Wijlre. During the subsequent arrest, a stun gun was used. As a precaution, part of the street was cordoned off and various specialized units arrived on the scene.

The arrest of the man took some time due to the careful approach that was adopted. The safety of those involved, both the man and the residents and helpers, has always had the highest priority.
