At around 12:00 PM, the officer, who was off-duty at the time, saw a man stealing a bicycle at the station in Middelburg and then boarding a train with the stolen bike. He immediately alerted his colleagues, who drove to Oost-Souburg station to wait for the suspect.

Upon arrival, officers saw a man matching the provided description on the side of the Eastern Bermweg, with a bicycle that also matched the description. The 19-year-old man from Vlissingen was immediately arrested and taken to the police station. He is still being interrogated.
