The suspect soon came threateningly towards the police officers who arrived on the scene with an object. Despite multiple warnings and threats with the stun gun, the man did not respond to instructions. Police officers then used the stun gun, fired a warning shot, and also threatened with a police dog, but this had no desired effect.
Arrest
After the suspect retreated into a house, attempts were made in various ways to contact the man. The Arrest Team was eventually able to arrest the man when he came outside. The man is suspected of making threats and violating a contact ban and will be heard later.
Assessment of Violence
The involved colleagues report the violence to the assisting public prosecutor, who prepares a mutation or registration. In the case of a registration, the actions are assessed by the police chief. The police chief bases his decision on advice from the sector head and the committee on the use of force. The committee includes an independent citizen appointed by the Minister of Justice and Security.
