On the Leimuiderweg in Burgerveen, a maximum speed of 30 kilometers per hour applies. We measured the speed with a laser gun. 11 drivers were speeding. They were pulled over and can expect a fine at home. The drivers license of a moped rider was also confiscated. The highest recorded speed was 70 kilometers per hour. 

Maximum 50 kilometers per hour

On the Cruquiusdijk in Cruquius and the Hillegommerdijk in Zwaanshoek, a maximum speed of 50 kilometers per hour applies. Here too, we checked the speed with the laser gun. On both roads, we pulled over 6 drivers due to their speed; they can expect a fine at home. The highest recorded speed on the Cruquiusdijk was 85 kilometers per hour.

Holding a Phone While Driving

At the industrial area De Liede in Vijfhuizen, we paid extra attention to holding a phone while driving. In one hour, we fined 12 drivers.

Road Works on the A44

On the A44, near the intersection with the A4, road work is currently being carried out. For the safety of the road workers, lanes are closed, and traffic must drive slower. It is therefore extra important to pay attention on the road. Here too, we monitored the holding of a phone while driving. In one hour, 9 drivers received a fine.
