At around 01:30, the reporter saw on camera footage that several people were breaking into his business premises. He decided to check and saw the burglars get into a van and drive away, after which the reporter followed them. During the chase, shots were fired from the vehicle multiple times. The van was stopped at De Mare in Rijswijk. The police were called later when the chase had already begun by the reporter.
Four Arrests
The police arrived at the scene and found the suspects vehicle near Lindelaan in Rijswijk. An investigation was initiated at this location, and four suspects were arrested. The police dog was deployed by the dog handler. The vehicle has been seized. The four arrested suspects are: two 18-year-old men from The Hague, a 22-year-old man, and a 19-year-old man from The Hague. They are in custody and being interrogated. The police are conducting the investigation.
