During the patrol, officers smelled a strong cannabis odor near a building on Aambeeldstraat in Edam. They inspected the commercial building, a car parked outside, and the people present. Equipment used for cannabis cultivation was discovered. The six men, aged 39-46, from the municipality of Edam-Volendam, were arrested and their roles are under investigation. The grow room was safely cleared, and the equipment is being destroyed. The six men were released but remain suspects.
