Just before 2 a.m., an incident occurred in or near a car at Kralingseplein in Rotterdam. The victim was resuscitated and, although in critical condition, was taken to the hospital. The 28-year-old suspect from Nijmegen was present with the victim and has been arrested.
Another person was also detained nearby but was found to have no connection to this incident. Earlier reports mentioned two arrests related to this investigation, but this has now been corrected to one arrest.
