The police were called because a stabbing incident had possibly occurred in a residence on Fabriekstraat. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and found the 44-year-old victim. This man was found to be lightly injured as he was presumably stabbed by the suspect with a sharp object. The victim was examined by ambulance staff. He was taken to the hospital but did not need to stay there. The 44-year-old Tilburg resident is filing a report.

Officers then transported the arrested suspect to a police detention center. He is still in custody for questioning. Officers also took witness statements. There are camera recordings of the incident, which will be included in the investigation.
