The names and photos of the suspects were previously shared by the police because there was a strong suspicion that they had fled to Suriname after Sherwins death. After the publication, contact took place between the suspects lawyers and the police, after which they voluntarily reported to a police station in Suriname. The suspects will be extradited to the Netherlands shortly.
Third Fugitive Suspect in Suriname
With the two arrests, a total of seven suspects have been apprehended on suspicion of involvement in Sherwins death and the disposal of his body. The police are still searching for an eighth suspect. There is also suspicion that this man fled to Suriname. His name and photo may also be made public later.
